1 Job... Wednesday
After my last post about the two jobs my head was spinning and my heart was racing I really didn't know what to do. My husband who I was looking to for answers and guidance decided this was an issue that he was gonna let me figure out on my own, not wanting to interfere with my decision. WELL honey I needed some help! So after a working interview at the dentist office I had a huge realization... This is a career. I would have to learn all about dentistry, from insurance, to procedures, to scheduling, and sales (sales you might ask, well you have to call customers to fill appointments). This job would take months to master and get well antiquated with. This is all fine and good and I know I'm up for the challenge, it was certainly not brain busting work it was just a lot of information. This is where I had a wake up call. My husband could be relocated at any time, it really wouldn't be fair to the people at the office for me to finally get trained and then in 3 months poof I'm gone! Not to mention I don't plan on working after we had children so when I get pregnant ( hopefully soon) I don't plan on working much longer! So it only seemed logical to take the part time job with the fun creative boss and the wonderful hours! I start tomorrow which is wonderful and exciting I can't wait and hopefully the training for this job will be simpler being that I do have retail experience. SO EXCITED!!Bathroom Update
A while ago Patrick and I started our bathroom renovation. We wanted to take our builder grade master bathroom and on a really tight budget make it pretty and unique. All the houses in our neighborhood are built by the same builder, and unfortunately he uses the same materials in each job. This means that all of our homes are the same. This is so not what I am about! So with a small budget this girl worked really hard to make this bathroom fit our style without any major overhauling. We left the shower surround and the floor and the cabinets. I really want to paint the cabinets but they are brand new and my hubs would NOT go for that! So with the job looming around the corner we are in a really big hurry to get this done I'm trying to put the finishing touches on today!
Fetching Fencing
Another big thing happening this week is our fabulous fence is finally going in! I am so excited that we will no longer have to take Chip out on a leash every time he needs to do his business. I am also excited that he will get to run and sniff and be a doggy outside! Ohh and wait till you see our beautiful fence! We picked out a picket fence (of course, I know!!) but, its not white its cedar. We had to splurge a little bit, but this long lasting material and beautiful look is well worth it!!! I can't wait! My dad is coming on Friday and will be here all weekend to help us put it in. I'm so excited to see him and spend all weekend with him too! Now were just in the pre-work part pulling permits, calling the utility companies, and planning all the other details. It's already a headache, but I know it'll be worth it in the end!
R.C.I.A. here I C.O.M.E
The last big thing that is happening this week is that we officially started our RCIA classes. For those of you as clueless as I am RCIA means Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults. Basically I am starting catholic school! My husbands whole entire family is Catholic and we were married in the Catholic church promising to raise our children catholic. Well I better learn how to do that then! So my classes started this week and we meet every Sunday until Easter! I am so excited about this too because I have been going to Mass now for about a year and I never have any idea whats going on. Well I'll keep you posted on how all this goes!
Well that's a lot going on for me so many changes in one week! I just keep praying we'll get through it!
God Bless,
Cassie S. R.
